An Insight to Lab-Grown Diamonds

By utilising advanced technology, lab-grown diamonds are created in an environment which mimicing the natural process of a diamonds’ formation.

The most common way is chemical vapour deposition (CVD), where a diamond “seed” is placed in a vacuumed chamber with carbon molecules & heated to extreme temperatures. This causes the carbon molecules to form crystals on the initial seed, which then grows like a natural diamond.

Value for Money

The time & cost of producing a lab-grown diamond is much more efficient than waiting for a natural diamond to form & be mined. As such, the price can be anywhere from 30% - 60% cheaper than its identical natural counterpart. This gives you more accessibility to larger, higher-quality stones without compromising on your desired price point.

Environmentally Friendly

While natural diamonds have an undeniable impact on the Earth, lab-grown diamonds are kinder to the planet. Lab-grown diamonds do however require a lot of energy to create but offer more transparency with origin tracing & human rights.

As they are both pure carbon, there is no gemological or chemical difference between natural or lab-grown diamonds. The quality, longevity & durability of both are the exact same, too. From a visual perspective, it is impossible to tell the difference & both offer the same sparkle, brilliance & scintillation.
